Holy Scarf!! It’s Done!!!
Finally, I finished my first scarf yesterday!!!!! I completed all the actual knitting on Monday, sewed in the loose strings on Tuesday, and added the fringes on Wednesday!!!
Voila (!) . . . . .
Measuring in at just over 5 feet long, this took me two weeks to finish while working on it only when I had the time. Here’s another look at it folded up . . .
I feel so accomplished!!! I’ve already started on my next scarf. It’s a small one for the daughter of a friend of mine. After that, I’ll do a couple more scarves, maybe a pair of socks, and somehow, a brand new throw for my bed. Yup, there’s no denying it. I am now a knitter. God help us all!!
I also wanted to make a little announcement that I have another show now lined up on May 1st back here in the Nashville area. It will be at a venue called Richard’s Cafe in Whites Creek, TN. It is just a few minutes north of downtown Nashville, and I’ll be doing a full hour’s set. I’ve been graciously given the early show at 6 PM for their Friday night dinner crowd. This is my first show at this long-standing venue, and I’m really looking forward to playing there.
This is it for now. More to come (and more knitting to come) SOON!!!!

Good job. It looks store-bought! hehehe
As for the garage, the geniuses who designed the house, made the garage large enough to fit a small car and nothing else. If Danny were to park the white car in there, he would have to install a moon roof to crawl out of, or maybe just sleep in the car til he leaves again. Seriously. It’s small.
That scarf is REALLY cute and cool!!!
Great Job..!!! I cannot believe my eyes your sister
made you learn how to knit. fantastic job.!!!!
